Shipping Policy
1. Delivery Options
We offer the following delivery methods:
a. Courier delivery
b. Self-collection (by arrangement)
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are not always included at checkout and may be quoted separately depending on the size, destination, and nature of the artwork.
International customers are responsible for all shipping, packaging, and any crate-related costs.
3. Processing Time
Orders are processed once full payment has been received.
Some artworks, particularly original pieces and limited edition prints, may require additional preparation time before dispatch.
4. Delivery Time
Where courier delivery is used, we aim to deliver within a reasonable time and no later than 30 days after payment has been received, unless otherwise stated.
Customers will be notified if delays occur.
5. Risk and Responsibility
Delivery is considered complete once the item is delivered to the address provided by the customer.
After delivery, Hilde Alet Malan is not responsible for loss, theft, or unauthorised use of the product.
6. Artwork Handling
Limited edition prints are typically dispatched rolled in protective tubes.
Original artworks may require special packaging or crating, which may incur additional charges.
Framing is the responsibility of the customer after receipt of goods.
7. International Orders
For orders outside of South Africa:
a. Shipping and packaging costs are not included unless otherwise stated.
b. A crate or special packaging fee may apply depending on the artwork.
c. Customers may be required to approve additional shipping costs after checkout.
d. Delivery times may vary depending on destination and courier services.
